Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki worked as a CNN political contributor between 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 as a political contributor for CNN. She was involved in the re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki later served as deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. [20] On February 11 2013 Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] Her hiring at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney when he left the White House,[21] but on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She returned to the White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was with the Obama administration until the end of its term.
